Just a week before Jodi Huisentruit’s 58th birthday, FindJodi has installed three new billboards in Mason City, Iowa.
That is where the 27-year-old Long Prairie, Minnesota, native disappeared in the dark on her way to anchor the morning news at KIMT-TV. She’s never been seen since June 27, 1995.
Our billboard’s message on the upcoming 31st anniversary of Jodi’s disappearance is both heartbreaking and simple: “Still Missing.”
These are the fourth version of FindJodi billboards since the first ones went up in Mason City on June 5, 2018, on what would have been Jodi’s 50th birthday.
The message: “Somebody knows something. Is it YOU?” Eight years later, the same question stands. We hope someone will not make Jodi’s family wait another year for answers. That someone could be the person who abducted Jodi and stole her promising future. Or it could be someone close to the abductor who has carried this secret for decades. Is it YOU?
Do the right thing and help bring Jodi home.
(Thank you to Reagan Outdoor Advertising’s Ashley Billings for sending us the photos of the new billboards.)
Anyone with information about Jodi’s case is encouraged to contact the Mason City Police Department at (641) 421-3636. Information may also be provided to Iowa DCI Special Agent Ryan Herman at rherman@dps.state.ia.us.
