We continue to honor Jodi Huisentruit with tributes from those who knew her. Joe Vigil was a friend of Jodi's whom he met while they were journalism students at St. Cloud State and later worked together in 1992 at KGAN TV in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Joe is now the main coanchor at KTVA-TV in Anchorage, Alaska. He sent this tribute as he observes this 22nd anniversary of Jodi's disappearance.

22 years is far too long for a young woman to be missing, a family forced to wait for answers on her whereabouts and a case to remain unsolved. Here we are again at another frustrating and sad milestone in the disappearance of Jodi Huisentruit. For years, the FindJodi.com, Inc. team has followed up leads and attempted to gain a foothold in the case. Despite years of digging, we're not there yet. But that doesn't mean we haven't made progress. Here is a look at tributes to Jodi, 22 years in the making.

Over the years, we've worked with many investigators. Most recently, FindJodi.com team member Caroline Lowe chatted Chief Jeff Brinkley. It's a follow up from the interview she conducted when he was new to the position in early 2016. The following is an excerpt of that recent conversation as the Chief and Caroline talk about the upcoming anniversary, the case where it stands currently, reading up on the case file and how the public can still help in a case the Chief says is still 'solvable' and 'prosecutable'.

Golfers say they remember Jodi telling them she planned to change her phone number the next day because she was receiving 'nasty, naughty' calls. The day before Jodi Huisentruit disappeared in June 1995, the Iowa anchorwoman spent several hours participating in a Mason City Chamber of Commerce golf tournament and awards dinner. She golfed with a team at the Highland Park Golf Course until rain cut the tournament short. Later that day, she attended the Chamber's social hour and awards dinner at the Mason City Country Club. In recent interviews with the FindJodi.com team, two golfers said Jodi told them she planned to change her phone number the next day because she had been getting "nasty" and "naughty" calls.
