It’s been 22 years since Iowa anchorwoman Jodi Huisentruit celebrated her 27th birthday with friends.
It would be her last.
Photos show Jodi happily enjoying the party in Clear Lake, Iowa.
A couple weeks after the surprise party, Jodi was abducted.
A videotape of the party, hosted by John Vansice, is in the evidence files of the Mason City Police Department.
As part of the investigation, Vansice and several friends who were at the party were interviewed. Vansice said Jodi stopped by his home in Mason City, Iowa, to watch the party video on Monday night, June 26th.
Early the next morning, Jodi disappeared. She was running late for work at KIMT TV, when someone attacked her in the parking lot outside her apartment. She hasn’t been seen since.
With Jodi’s birthday and another anniversary of her abduction happening in June, it’s always a very tough month for her family and friends. Their pain is worsened by still not knowing what happened that fateful morning.
If you know anything that could help solve this case, please reach out to FindJodi.com or Mason City police.
And, to help us prepare a timeline on Jodi’s activities in June 1995, we’d also like to hear from anyone who was at her birthday party and/or have photos from the event.
