Friends of Jodi Huisentruit, along with her former KIMT-TV co-workers, shared their memories of the missing news anchor at an emotional 30th anniversary gathering on June 27 in Mason City, Iowa.
Jodi was abducted outside her apartment building on her way to anchor the morning news at KIMT-TV on June 27, 1995.
The speakers also talked about the trauma they still live with three decades later as they wait for answers and justice for the 27-year-old Long Prairie, Minnesota, native.
Mason City Police Chief Jeff Brinkley appealed for information to help solve the case and a friend of Jodi’s read a statement from the Huisentruit family.
Our FindJodi, Inc. team hosted the annual event in front of KIMT-TV which was live-streamed on Facebook. In case you missed it, or would like to watch the somber milestone ceremony again, we have posted video on our FindJodi YouTube channel.
