As part of FindJodi’s ongoing effort to broaden awareness and inform new audiences about Jodi's case, podcast host Scott Fuller and FindJodi Team Member Brian Wise collaborated to bring the series to YouTube.
Recently the Oxygen network aired a 2-hour special about Jodi Huisentruit's disappearance from the parking lot of her apartment complex in 1995. The broadcast included home video footage of a birthday party thrown for Jodi by her friends a few weeks before she went missing. A billboard our FindJodi.com team dedicated in Mason City, Iowa in honor of Jodi Huisentruit has been vandalized. The board was spray painted with the name of a former Mason City police investigator, sometime in the past couple of days. It also includes the words 'machine shed' in the writings.
Jodi Huisentruit spent the weekend before she was abducted with friends on a water-skiing trip in Iowa City, Iowa. The group included John Vansice, who’s been the main focus of the police investigation, Vansice’s son, who was a college student at the time and several women.
