Authorities in Polk County, Iowa are investigating the discovery of human remains in Des Moines.
Human bones were found by children playing in a dirt pile on March 17th.
Polk County detectives initially said only that the remains appear ‘old’.
No other information has been released to the public. At this time, we have no reason to believe this discovery is related to Jodi’s case.
A local police investigation is ongoing. Mason City Police are also aware of the find.
