Several million viewers watched the recent ’48 Hours’ special that focused on Jodi Huisentruit, prompting dozens of tips to the Mason City Police Department and to FindJodi.com.
Two months later, Police Chief Jeff Brinkley told WCCO-TV reporter Liz Collin that some calls were from people they’d never heard from before. While the Chief declined to talk about any new information, MCPD may have received, he told Liz that Jodi’s case is “solvable.”
For the past several months, Jodi’s case has also been the focus of a new series of episodes on the Frozen Truth podcast.
The podcast is produced by Scott Fuller, an Austin, Minnesota radio host. Scott has interviewed members of the FindJodi.com team, along with friends of Jodi’s, as part of his ongoing investigative series.
He says his next step is to spend time “on the ground” in Mason City, Iowa, digging for new information on Jodi’s disappearance which he’ll include in future episodes.
FindJodi.com is grateful for the ongoing media efforts to help keep Jodi’s case in the spotlight.
It will be 24-years on June 27 since Jodi was abducted on her way to anchor the morning news at KIMT-TV in Mason City.
Jodi has never been seen since.
We don’t want Jodi’s family and friends to wait another year for her to come home.
If you have any information on Jodi’s disappearance, please come forward.
