The search for Jodi Huisentruit is the focus of a new, 2-hour episode on the Oxygen Channel’s Up and Vanished program.
The program airs February 15th at 7:00 p.m. PST and EST and is hosted by podcaster Payne Lindsey.
This is the second true crime network show to feature Jodi’s case in just over a year.
A CBS 48 Hours episode called ‘FindJodi’ first aired in December 2018 and can now be seen on the Discovery ID channel.
The “48 Hours” show was inspired by four billboards put up in Mason City, Iowa, on what would have been Jodi’s 50th birthday June 5, 2018. Our FindJodi team sponsored the outdoor signs. The last-standing billboard was vandalized on New Year’s Eve and will be replaced soon.
The CBS episode generated dozens of calls and tips to the Mason City Police Department and to FindJodi.com.
Jodi’s case was also the focus in 2013 of a special called ”Breaking News” on the Investigation Discovery channel.
In 2015, Brian Mastre, a former KIMT-TV colleague of Jodi’s, produced a half-hour special report in connection with the 20th anniversary of her abduction.
ABC’s 2020 first aired a special on Jodi in 2000, five years after she disappeared. It was updated in 2005 on the 10th anniversary of her abduction.
We hope the latest round of national media attention will help lead to answers to what happened to Jodi, who was abducted on her way to anchor the morning news at KIMT-TV in Mason City on June 27, 1995.
If you have any information on Jodi’s disappearance, please come forward.
