2017 Vansice search warrant sealed for another year

A Cerro Gordo County, Iowa, judge has ordered sealed a search warrant in the Jodi Huisentruit investigation for another year.

In 2018, the FindJodi.com team revealed the existence of the March 2017 warrant seeking GPS data on two vehicles connected to a friend of Jodi’s, John Vansice.

The vehicles were manufactured after Jodi was abducted in June 1995 on her way to anchor the morning news at KIMT-TV in Mason City, Iowa.

The Mason City Police Department has not commented on the warrant, but Chief Jeff Brinkley told CBS in 2018, “that piece didn’t pan out like we hoped.”
