Our role at FindJodi has never been to be the loudest voice in the search for Jodi. It's to make sure real information reaches the people who can actually act on it, and to protect the integrity of that information, and people connected to it, along the way.
The “48 Hours” recent show on Jodi Huisentruit focused on two people who have been investigated in connection with her abduction twenty-three years ago: her friend John Vansice and a convicted serial rapist, Tony Jackson. One of the questions we’ve heard about a lot since the show was whether Vansice or Jackson have alibis for June 27, 1995, the morning Jodi disappeared.
Jodi Huisentruit’s sister, JoAnn Nathe, and along with several of Jodi’s friends and former coworkers at KIMT-TV, were among the people interviewed for the 48 Hours show, “FindJodi.” The episode aired Saturday night on CBS. Jodi’s family released this statement Sunday night about the show, appealing for help to bring Jodi home.
The CBS 48 Hours special 'FindJodi' generated a lot of interest in Jodi's case. The search for Jodi Huisentruit is the focus of a CBS 48 Hours episode scheduled to air on Saturday, December 15. The hour-long show will be called “Find Jodi.”
As expected, a Cerro Gordo County, Iowa, judge has sealed a search warrant in the Jodi Huisentruit investigation for another year. In March, the FindJodi.com team first revealed the existence of the March 2017 warrant seeking GPS data on two vehicles connected to a friend of Jodi’s, John Vansice.
Jodi Huisentruit’s sister JoAnn Nathe and her daughter Kristen made a visit to Mason City tonight to see the billboards we dedicated on Jodi’s 50th birthday on June 5th. They were pleased to see the billboards in person.
On this 23rd anniversary of Jodi Huisentruit's abduction, four billboards in Mason City are powerful reminders another year has gone by and Jodi is still missing.
Currently, there are four billboards in Mason City reminding viewers that 'Someone knows something...is it you?'. Our billboard campaign was all made possible by a generous donor. We had an excellent turnout of media at our event on June 5, 2018 (which would have also been Jodi's 50th birthday). And now leads are starting to come in.
