FindJodi.com is happy to be working with Investigator Terrance Prochaska of the Mason City Police Department on the Jodi Huisentruit investigation. Investigator Prochaska’s duties include investigation of all aspects of crime including, theft, fraud, burglary, assaults, sex assaults, kidnapping, robbery and homicide. In the spring of 2010, Investigator Prochaska was assigned tto the Huisentruit homicide case. Huisentruit disappeared on June 27th, 1995 in Mason City, Iowa.
Investigator Prochaska hopes to bring a new eyes on this cold case file and develop new leads and a new look into the Huisentruit case. Prochaska brings knowledge of technology to aid law enforcement in forensic investigations involving cold case files. Prochaska’s goal is to find out what happened to Jodi Huisentruit and bring justice to the case.
Investigator Prochaska is an 11-year law enforcement veteran. A native of Iowa Falls, Iowa, Prochaska began his law enforcement career working for the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office in Eldora, Iowa while attending Ellsworth College from 1999-2000. Prochaska later attended the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy in 2001 and became an Officer for the Maquoketa, Iowa Police Department where he was assigned the Patrol Division. In the spring of 2003, Prochaska relocated to the North Iowa area to pursue his career in Criminal Investigations with the Mason City Police Department.
Throughout Prochaska’s career at the Mason City Police Department, he has taken several assignments to develop his investigation skills. These included, Patrol Officer, Narcotic Investigator as well as a Criminal Investigatior. Prochaska has extensive training in undercover operations and surveillance, death investigations, interviewing and interrogation, crime scene investigations including DNA evidence collection, along with specialized training in sexual and domestic abuse investigations.
