Gary Peterson appointed Project Alert Consultant of NCMEC

By Josh Benson @wflajosh · On May 13, 2013

FindJodi.com, Inc. is proud to announce team member Gary Peterson’s appointment to the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children as Project Alert Consultant.

Given the recent developments in Cleveland surrounding the three women found alive after living as hostages for 10 years, NCMEC has taken center stage once again to keep hope alive for families by observing National Missing Children’s Day on May 25th.

We’re happy Gary can lend his vast knowledge and expertise to an organization that helps aid families of missing loved ones by never giving up hope.

Gary has this to say about his recent training with NCMEC in Washington, D.C.:

I just traveled to Washington D.C. to take part in a training with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. I have worked with this organization on several occasions, one of which was related to the Lauren Spierer case in Bloomington, Indiana.

NCMECI am a new member of NCMEC and serve in the capacity of Project Alert Consultant with other team members who investigate cases throughout the United States. It is truly an honor to serve with these individuals who are so dedicated solving missing person cases.

I envision occasions where the work of FindJodi.com, Inc. will be expanded and perhaps our efforts can be shared with many organizations – the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children being one of them.

The rescue of the three young women in Ohio has turned many theories into a renewed effort to find hundreds of lost individuals. FindJodi.com has become a gathering point for information sharing and sensitive leads later passed on to law enforcement.  Over the years we’ve learned  departments are very receptive with this information, others, not as much. There are missing person cases that have gone unsolved for nearly twenty years or more…and its time to bring these victims home.

Findjodi.com, Inc. is an entity that is dedicating time, effort and materials to keep these investigations alive and we will continue to put a renewed sense of urgency into all cases – primarily the disappearance of Jodi Huisentruit. Jodi’s family needs to know where she is and who is responsible for her disappearance. We  pledge to help them accomplish this feat.

Our prayers and wishes go out to the families that are affected by the loss of a member and we will continue our efforts.

Gary
