Nine months before anchorwoman Jodi Huisentruit vanished on her way to work at KIMT TV in Mason City, Iowa, Jeff Brinkley began his career in law enforcement in Ames, Iowa in March of 1996.
Twenty years later, Brinkley is Mason City’s new police chief, replacing Michael Lashbrook who retired in December.
Sadly, Jodi is still missing. Solving her case is the highest profile investigation on Chief Brinkley’s agenda in his new assignment.
His resume also includes undergraduate and masters degrees from Iowa State University and he graduated from the FBI National Academy in 2009. (FindJodi team member Jay Alberio also graduated from that prestigious law enforcement academy in 1996. )
Brinkley is the fourth chief to be in charge of the Mason City Police Department since Jodi disappeared on June 27, 1995.
Our FindJodi team looks forward to working with Chief Brinkley in our search for answers to what happened to Jodi.
