Our role at FindJodi has never been to be the loudest voice in the search for Jodi. It's to make sure real information reaches the people who can actually act on it, and to protect the integrity of that information, and people connected to it, along the way.
Members of the FindJodi.com, Inc. team are en route to Mason City, Iowa for our event to dedicate the recent billboards as well as bring awareness to Jodi's case.
Three of the four billboards are now up around Mason City, Iowa. The final billboard is a digital board and will go live Monday. A lot of people have been asking, "Why billboards?"

After several decades searching for a serial killer and rapist, Sacramento, California, law enforcement officials today announced a DNA match had led them to a 72-year-old man who only became a suspect less than a week ago. Joseph James DeAngelo was arrested in a quiet Sacramento-area neighborhood where he'd lived for more than 30 years. Our FindJodi.com team will continue to closely watch this case, wondering if a similar break might lead to finding Jodi Huisentruit's abductor -- perhaps not far from where she disappeared in Mason City, Iowa, and perhaps involving someone like a Joseph DeAngelo who hadn't even been on investigators' radar in the past.
Our most recent post, revealing Mason City police executed a search warrant, one year ago today, seeking GPS data for two vehicles connected to John Vansice, struck a big chord. We were not surprised. Vansice was a friend of Jodi’s who claimed to be the last person to see her alive. He was interviewed by police early on in the investigation, denied he had anything to do with her disappearance and told reporters back in 1995 that he passed a lie detector test.
Development: FindJodi.com has learned the Mason City Police Department executed a search warrant seeking GPS data from 2 vehicles related to John Vansice back on March 20, 2017. The "interested party" on the public records from the Iowa Courts Online Search is officially listed as Arthur John Vansice, Vansice's full legal name. We're not sure if 72-year-old John Vansice, who now lives in Arizona, owned the vehicles, if he borrowed them, or if he was in Iowa at all. The two vehicles listed in the court files are a 1999 Honda Civic and 2013 GMC 1500.
We're back from what seems to have been a break that once again, is far too long. There hasn't been much new in Jodi's case as you can probably tell. We've discussed these lulls in previous posts. They never seem to get any better. But we're happy to have come across a podcast that has breathed a bit of life back into the case.
John Shine was the General Manager of KIMT-TV when Jodi disappeared. In numerous conversations with John over the years, we've discussed and shared our theories, the events of that day, how to move forward and an overall sense of frustration that this case hasn't been resolved. He recently sent us a poem to share with readers.

We hope someone reading or watching a news report will come forward with the information critically needed to provide answers to what happened to Jodi.
The night before she disappeared, Jodi Huisentruit called her good friend Kelly Torguson in Mississippi. Kelly wasn't home so Jodi chatted with Kelly's husband who answered their phone. After Jodi's abduction, Mason City police flew Kelly to Iowa as part of their investigation and effort to interview everyone who knew Jodi. Kelly's mom, Beverly Salonen of Glenwood, Minnesota, fondly remembers Jodi and recently shared several photos and her memories of Jodi.
