FindJodi.com has received word of a very active scene unfolding in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
There is heavy law enforcement on the northwest side of Cedar Rapids.
According to the tipster who lives a few blocks away, the FBI, archaeologists, police and the coroner are on scene.
Investigators are on scene at a home on Cherry Hill Road Northwest.
A shed had been moved from its position in Cedar Rapids during an active search (via FindJodi.com)
According to the tipster, there was a shed on the property he says was built in 1995. He said that shed was removed last night and authorities are digging the ground beneath.
There is no indication that this is related to the Jodi Huisentruit investigation at this time.
CBS2 in Iowa report agencies working at the scene include the FBI, DEA, the Linn County Sheriff’s Office, Iowa DCI, and Cedar Rapids police.
We have received word that Mason City Police are currently not on scene. FindJodi.com has reached out to FBI and MCPD.
