Boy, what a difference a year makes. Last year at this time, our team was energized. We were heading into the anniversary of Jodi's disappearance with an organized walk in Mason City. Many from the community responded, even showed up to walk for that matter. We figured it was a good way to draw attention to Jodi's case because, after all, 20 years is long enough - we wouldn't see 21 years. Well, here we are.
We are approaching the 21st anniversary of the disappearance of Jodi Huisentruit. Jodi was abducted from the parking lot of her apartment complex in the early morning hours of June 27th, 1995. Few details have been released in her case since that day, but according to Mason City Police Department, they continue to investigate leads in an effort to find Jodi and bring her abductor(s) to justice. A lot of people want to know what happened to Jodi Huisentruit, including Abby Kleinschmidt of Alexandria.
