Jay Alberio

Jay Alberio was born and raised in Minnesota. He joined the United States Marine Corp in 1975. After serving in the Corp, he received an Associate’s Degree in Law Enforcement from Normandale Community College and later received his Bachelor of the Arts degree in Organizational Leadership from Bethel University.
Jay joined the Woodbury Police Department in 1986. He recently retired after 27 years of service. Jay was a patrol officer for three years and was promoted to Sergeant in 1988. In 2003, Jay was promoted to a Commander. Jay attended the FBI National Academy in 1996, focusing on Investigations and Major Case management. Jay managed the Investigative Unit for Woodbury Public Safety for 17 years. During this time Jay managed several death investigations, investigated identify theft groups and was responsible for the investigation and arrest of a serial rapist.
Jay has a strong passion for assisting victims and bringing cases to closure. Jay hopes to assist the FindJodi.com team with the continued search for the person responsible for Jodi Huisentruit’s disappearance.
Jay’s vast experience and background in law enforcement adds a very critical and valuable component to the FindJodi.com team.
Jay spends his time between his homes in Minnesota and Florida.
