Currently, there are four billboards in Mason City reminding viewers that ‘Someone knows something…is it you?’. Our billboard campaign was all made possible by a generous donor. We had an excellent turnout of media at our event on June 5, 2018 (which would have also been Jodi’s 50th birthday). And now leads are starting to come in.
The entire goal of the campaign was to drive more leads. We want people in and around Mason City to try and remember the months leading up to June 1995 and if they recall anything related to Jodi’s case that may see out of the ordinary, strange, bizarre, or just curious now that they’ve had nearly two decades to think about it.
We’ve always believed this case was only one good lead away from being solved.
With the help of the public and these billboards, we hope that lead makes it to our team and to Mason City Police Department so Jodi can be found and an arrest can be made. We’re not giving up.
Thanks to everyone for their support and interest in our billboard campaign. And a special thanks to the media who came to the event, covered the story and continue to keep Jodi’s name in the headlines. It helps to spread the message that she still hasn’t been found. The chapter isn’t closed.
