In the past year, much has happened in the search for Jodi Huisentruit who was abducted on her way to anchor the morning news at KIMT-TV in Mason City, Iowa on June 27, 1995. But 24 years after Jodi’s disappearance from her apartment parking lot, Jodi is still missing, no one has been charged with a crime. Here's a look back at the past year of searching as we observe the 24th anniversary of Jodi's disappearance.
Jodi Huisentruit should be celebrating her 51st birthday today with her friends and loved ones. Instead, they mark another year not knowing what happened to Jodi since she was abducted on June 27, 1995, from her apartment parking lot in Mason City, Iowa, on her way to anchor the news at KIMT-TV.
We are extremely saddened to learn of the recent and sudden passing of Dan Borland; a friend and colleague to all of us at FindJodi.com, Inc. He passed away in his hometown of Albert Lea, Minnesota on Sunday, February 24th at the young age of 62.
Jodi Huisentruit’s sister JoAnn Nathe and her daughter Kristen made a visit to Mason City tonight to see the billboards we dedicated on Jodi’s 50th birthday on June 5th. They were pleased to see the billboards in person.
On this 23rd anniversary of Jodi Huisentruit's abduction, four billboards in Mason City are powerful reminders another year has gone by and Jodi is still missing.
The following is a statement from Jodi's family and was read during our event in Mason City on June 5th, 2018 near one of the billboards calling attention to her case.
Members of the FindJodi.com, Inc. team are en route to Mason City, Iowa for our event to dedicate the recent billboards as well as bring awareness to Jodi's case.
Three of the four billboards are now up around Mason City, Iowa. The final billboard is a digital board and will go live Monday. A lot of people have been asking, "Why billboards?"
