As our FindJodi team started discussing ways to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Jodi Huisentruit’s disappearance, none of us could have imagined the events of this Spring.
And just as the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted so many parts of our daily lives, it has also forced our team to re-think planned events for June 27th.
We’re still hopeful that we can host sort of gathering in Jodi’s memory in Mason City, IA on that date, just as we did in 2015 on the 20th anniversary and in 2018 on Jodi’s 50th birthday when we unveiled four billboards there.
We’ll keep you posted at FindJodi.com and via our social media.
In the mean time, we are making plans to mark the anniversary and to connect with you digitally; including the launch of the official FindJodi podcast. It is currently in production and will be introduced in the coming weeks.
We hope you and your family are safe and healthy during these unusual times.
We also remain focused on our mission to raise awareness about Jodi’s case, and help find answers.
While the current situation is unlike any other we’ve seen in the time since Jodi disappeared, it does not change the fact that she is still missing, and has been missing for nearly 25 years.
And we hope the approaching anniversary will be the last before answers for Jodi are found.
It’s time to bring Jodi home.
