With the 30th anniversary of the disappearance of Iowa news anchor Jodi Huisentruit just over a month away, the FindJodi.Inc. team has released an updated flyer and created a new billboard to be installed soon in Mason City.
The new billboard and flyer feature a photo of a smiling Jodi and a simple message: “30 years. It’s time.”
If you have a few minutes, feel free to share the flyer on y0ur social media sites or in your community.
The FindJodi team put up its first billboards in Mason City on June 5, 2018, Jodi’s 50th birthday. They have remained at various locations in this northern Iowa community ever since. The goal: to honor the missing 27-year-old KIMT-TV anchor and to appeal for information to help solve her case.
Jodi was getting into to her car to go to work on June 27, 1995, in the parking lot next to her apartment when she was apparently abducted from behind. It was still dark and it took barely thirty seconds for Jodi to leave her second-floor apartment, rush down the steps to the go out of the building and walk twelve feet to her Mazda Miata.

Jodi’s unsolved mystery has been covered extensively by local and national media, including network and true crime shows and podcasts. The podcasts include 35 episodes of our FindJodi podcasts.
Despite all the attention given to this high-profile case, thirty years later, there is still no sign of Jodi. No one has been held accountable for her disappearance and there’s been no chance for the Long Prairie, Minnesota, native’s loved ones to say goodbye.
If you have any information about what happened to Jodi, contact the Mason City Police Department at (641) 421-3636 Or email Iowa DCI Special Agent Ryan Herman: reherman@dps.state.ia.us And you can also send an anonymous tip to FindJodi.com.
