By now you must be feeling as though you got away with Jodi’s murder. You have probably been arrested several times from the time Jodi was murdered. During your stints in jail one of your cellmates must have been a captive audience to your deed. You have told someone what you’ve done. Have you spoken to this person recently? In this open letter we are appealing to someone close to you to contact us and tell us everything that you know. We would have to do it like that because you obviously don’t have the courage to step forward and remove this heavy burden from your shoulders.
We continue to check the Iowa Sex Offenders website to see if there are any offenders in there that might fit your description.
A recent post gave valuable information regarding several people who were associated with the abduction. The number of people who offer up information every day gives us encouragement that you will be found out very soon. The descriptions fit many of the people who we have been following for several years. We are particularly interested in which informant gave information about the abduction to this website. We will continue to investigate . There is renewed interest from a witness who observed a vehicle and two people near Mason City. It is a shame that the witness who saw you leave the parking lot only got a brief description of your vehicle, but we know what it isn’t.
For Jodi’s friends and relatives, today has to be a letdown. Last week was an end to the hopes and dreams of finding Jodi. Think real hard about what you did and the effect it is having on the Huisentruit family. Was this a deed of passion? Probably. Did the responsible person plan this abduction or was it something that “just happens?” You likely stood in the parking lot watching her every move. You knew when the lights in her apartment went off your heart starts beating faster and your breathing increases. You are afraid she will hear your heart before you even saw her coming down the stairs. You rushed toward her and screamed for her love. Jodi was pushed against her red Mazda Miata and put pressure on her neck trying to keep from screaming. Jodi was an athletic person and knew how to fight. She started kicking throwing her purse at you. The contents of the purse were later recovered.
Eventually there was no sound. You were unable to pick her up so you dragged her feet in the dirt between the bumper guards. And all this time people were watching.
Many people have died during this investigation. I hope you don’t because then there is a slim hope that you will come forward to tell the story.
Note to a friend or relative of the suspect(s): If you know who is responsible please come forward. I pray for the family and prayers for you and your family. Jodi’s Mother and daughters pray for peace and finding Jodi. Let’s put an end to this tragic story.
