Jack Decoster was big in the news about the time of Jodi's disappearance. She may have reported on him. He came from the East Coast and bought up thousands of acres of rural farmland to build the largest CHICKEN/EGG PROCESSING empire imaginable; accused of violating numerous codes and regulations and contaminating water, not to mention hiring many, many illegal immigrants.

Your name caught my eye. For a minute there I thought I had come upon someone that personel knowledge of the case.
Anyway Jodi was working on the Decoster case when she was abducted but the IA DCI agents who were also worked on the case didn’t find any thing that led them to believe that DeCoster was involved in Jodi’s abduction.
