Can anyone offer an explanation as to why Jodi's case files have never been reviewed by a cold case squad.
I may be wrong but as far as I'm aware the only person outside of the MCPD to have viewed the files is a journalist.
I seriously doubt the journalist had access to all the case files but the fact she had access to any files is amazing.
However I digress so back to the cold case squad.

Can anyone offer an explanation as to why Jodi's case files have never been made available to a cold case team of detectives.

Very simple. The MCPD doesn't consider it a cold case even after all this time. They still call it an active investigation and don't seem to want to pass the reigns. I believe they have a good idea of who was involved but just don't have any evidence to back it up. My guess is corn seed guy is their prime suspect as being directly involved or has the knowledge of what happened.
