I think the FindJodi podcasts are an important way to keep the interest in Jodi's case with the hope it will eventually be solved. While I understand that there are reasons to prevent certain information for legal reasons I think there was a way to do it without discontinuing the comments. How do others feel about this?
Yes, I believe it was a mistake to stop comments. The comments section was generating a lively discussion and interest was growing in the case. I don't know why you would cut off something like that at its peak, if that was the peak; we'll never know if it was. Yes, there were some occasional reckless comments, but they were no different than other off the wall comments that had been allowed to stand for years. I have never understood this decision. It wiped out a burgeoning community of people who were dedicated to responding to the podcast with some really thoughtful ideas and insight. It may have been a pain the butt for the moderators, but they could have issued warnings. What was it they were hoping for with the podcast, anyway? Wouldn't you hope for an engaged and responsive audience?
