Well unless you are his alibi for the morning in question, then i dont see how you can know this. LE has stated that he has never been cleared. As for her co-workers, they were investigated thoroughly and given LDTs.
Cornseed guy would sit in Jodi's parking lot at night sometimes, without her knowledge. He had an explosive temper and drank too much. And he was a POI in several other murders/deaths. I think this makes him the most probable suspect.

Well first of all she hung out with this guy on a regular basis and they got along pretty good. He has no motive to kill her. Now ask yourself this how many friends did she have at work? They went as far as saying she seemed to be using drugs. Why would you wait until someone is missing to report this behavior? Did they ever check the phone records from that morning? And I don't mean jodi's phone.

Cornseed guy wanted the platonic relationship with Jodi to be more than it was and she didn't.

Cornseed guy was the last person to see Jodi that night.

Cornseed guy fled the city soon after Jodi went missing.

Cornseed guy was rude to Jodi's sister when she asked him questions.

Cornseed guy didn't seem too upset in the 20/20 program and said he thought Jodi was "coming back."

Cornseed guy would not comment for 20/20. Why? If someone I cared deeply about went missing, and the media years later was doing a program about it, I would be glad to talk to them in hopes that it will raise public awareness about Jodi and help solve the case. Families and friends of missing people are always hoping the media will keep reporting on these cases so more tips will come in and their loved one won't be forgotten.

If it looks like a duck, sounds like a duck and acts like a duck, well...

Well he didn't excatly flee like you stated but did move away but I guess living in rural Iowa he had no other choice. This guy was grilled pretty good. If he did do it he really is good of hding himself together. He is not obligated to give interviews with any news agency. But how can you overlook all the things that were said about her from fellow employees? I swear there lies the smoking gun. They the fellow employees acted like what happend was to be expected. All I am saying they need to turn around and dig deeper in the other direction. This cornseed guy has been through alot and they still have nothing on him.

I know he was not "obligated" to talk to the media. Just saying his actions leaves a lot to be desired. Why not talk to the media when asked to comment if he really cared about her?

I doubt he was "grilled" by the police. Did they get a search warrant and search his home and vehicles that morning, since he was the last person to see her and considered himself her boyfriend? That was a no-brainer.

Well yes he was questioned or grilled about all this. That is the main reason he left town. You think they never questioned this guy? Really? Have you heard the interview her boss gave that was very low down rude and to this day nothing has been done. I am starting to believe that Andy Griffth & Barney five where the detectives on this case. Do they have any forensic evidence about this case? And what is this deal with this cop coming out saying this was a cover up? I really hope that is not true.

Police never searched his home nor his vehicles the morning Jodi went missing. Police screwed up. It SHOULD have been a simple matter had the police done their jobs that morning. Cornseed guy is their guy!!!

Exactly as Simon wrote. The whole case might have been solved, but Jodi's regional "fame" confused things. If she had worked at Mercy Hospital, for example, instead of KIMT, the police would have automatically looked at her friends, notably the guy who spent the most time with her, lavished money on her, named his boat after her. So far, the person who did this has been very, very, very lucky. Since the opportunity to collect forensic evidence is long gone, we are left to hope that this luck somehow turns or that the person suddenly and belatedly develops a conscience and decides to talk.

I just don't get it. Why would Mr. Cornseed wait in the parking lot on a regular basis for hours on end and then Jodi would still hangout with him on a regular basis. That is the most ridiculous story I have heard yet.

The Book DEAD AIR is a FICTION book. It is written on the opinion of the author! No credible Case Facts so do not base your thoughts on the book alone. This book was written for PROFIT $$$!

I can tell you one fact about this case that I know. No one knows 100% who did it. Not even the lead investigators or the leading PIs. Please do not go around and make accusations saying, "I know 100% who did it." It just makes you look completely uncredible.

For those fixated on cornseed guy: Beth Bednar's book was a good read, but don't believe everything you read in there as fact or 100% accurate. She does a good job pulling you in to eat up the evidence she has against that guy. There were several times I questioned her judgement, especially towards the end of the book. I definitely think she got a bit of tunnel vision and filled in holes to try to make a believable story.

I have talked to a few people who are credible and they believe it was not just one person but two. So let me ask you all this question: If you think you know who did it, who was their accomplice?

I agree 100% with you. I just don't see this cornseed guy as the guilty one. Also what really amazed me was what her co-workers thought of her. One thing is for sure they will never know what happend unless somebody comes forward with the truth.

Maybe ive missed it, but the only co-worker that im aware who had anything truly disparaging to say about Jodi was Amy K., her assistant/co-worker, who picked up the slack when Jodi was late for work and who mentioned her sometimes demanding behavior and personality shifts. As far as i know, Ms. K was at the station when Jodi was abducted and had no involvement in it. I am curious to know what other co-workers, specifically, said bad things about her, or a link to those statements. Thank you.

I Myself, am not putting a Specific Co-workers name to blame...I feel that Jodi's Business ingeneral, is A Big Key to what has happened to Her! Gale St. John had alot of Points to Add to Her disappearence. Big Money is involved somewhere!

Not sure I'm saying "I know 100 percent" who did it. Just saying who I think is a top suspect. If I new 100 percent who did it, I'd have proof and evidence of who did it. I don't think it had anything to do with drugs or her co-workers.

What makes her co-workers so credible? Lol! I guess if I were them I would want you looking that way too. That book out there is completely useless if you are new to this case. Definitely pure fiction

Are you saying the author of the book made everything up and didn't interview anyone? Sorry, Colby, but I think you're either a friend or relative of corn seed guy or you're corn seed guy. Your fervent defense of him is telling.

Nope I am not the cornseed guy. Have never even met him. But if you believe everything in that money making book sorry for you. I guess I just came into this open minded and never let all this stuff with the cornseed guy overwhelm me like most of you here. I mean if he was so guilty as you all here make him out to be as the only possible suspect why is he alive and well living in Arizona? I will tell you why because there is nothing tying him to this crime. Maybe if more people would be open minded and look at different possibilities maybe just maybe there could be a break in the case. By the way who was she water skiing with prior to her disappearance?
