I realized I made a mistake - I read the articles from most current to oldest. I read about the woman who was arrested and charged with false reporting - but what about the murdered waitress lead?

I will try to answer whatever questions I can. Most of the questions concern the murder of the waitress in Britt, Iowa. Brad Lee Erdahl was convicted of first degree murder in the death of 19 year old Jackie Folkerts. He was arrested on January 25th, 1999. I had various discussions with the family and law enforcement and mention was made about Jackie writing down the partial license number of a vehicle with Minnesota plates with a male driver at the restaurant. He apparently raised the suspicions of Jackie who wrote down what she could remember and to tell relatives of the event. I have never heard that Jackie's death was anyway connected to Jodi's but there are suspicions the driver of that vehicle might know something.

I know that the waitress from Britt, IA, was murdered by her friend's brother, who was convicted, but Britt, IA, was also the residence of another individual named as possibly being connected to Jodi's death. Is it possible that someone he knew was the man who talked to the waitress about her murder? Was the license plate the waitress wrote down ever recovered?

Someone out there has to know something that could help bring closure to Jodi's family and friends. I'm not sure there could be justice at this point. The perpetrator has been able to live his life, while Jodi's life was taken from her when she was so young.
