So if we consider the results of the poll on this website to be at all indicative of "the truth" of what went down that day and possibly one of the reasons this case hasn't been resolved....a majority of those who've weighed in on the poll seem to think there has been a conspiracy of some sort.

To me, this implies that whomever tampered with Jodi's existence was somehow "connected" with government or law enforcement...in Iowa, Mason City, or maybe a neighboring community?

Let's consider those close to Jodi personally and professionally - who's own connections or relations were or could have been political in nature and then see what people who contribute to this site are able to toss out here.

There's a recent post that suggests she knew or overhead something involving a "prominent builder"...so was this a government project-related builder or a private developer? Was it a permit issue or a contract award and bidding issue?
