The goal of the FindJodi.com website and podcasts is to keep Jodi Huisentruit’s case in the public spotlight through a fact-based investigative process. That means the information we share must be thoroughly accurate.
Our singular focus is on finding out what happened to Jodi. Speculative, unverified rumors can be intriguing, but they are inconsistent with our goal of reporting with accuracy.
Unfortunately, some of our podcast listeners have left comments that are not appropriate for our site. These posts included names of those who might have been responsible—without a basis in fact.
That kind of discussion, however sincere and well-meaning, may be appropriate for other online sites. However, it is not appropriate for ours.
As a result, we have decided to turn off commenting on posts in the coming days. We thought long and hard about taking this step. We appreciate the interest from listeners and readers, but our all-volunteer team simply does not have the time to moderate thousands of comments.
Human nature being what it is, folks will push their theories on the identity of Jodi’s adductor, often anonymously. That can’t be done on a site that’s committed to reporting the facts.
Meanwhile, we always welcome questions via email to FindJodi that we can try to answer in future Q&A podcasts.

We will also create a FAQ section on our website that will address the most commonly asked questions about the case.
The Forum will remain as of now but we will continue to review the postings there to determine if it stays in the future.
