Scott has spent more than 15 years as head of programming for terrestrial radio stations in Maine, Wyoming, and Minnesota. He currently works for KAUS AM/FM in Austin, MN, where he has overseen on air operations since 2009.

Scott began podcasting in 2003. In recent years, he's conducted in-depth investigations of high profile cold cases in several states through various ongoing podcast projects, including the 1995 disappearance of Jodi Huisentruit. He joined FindJodi.com in January 2020.
