Does anyone know how long the police offered to follow her back and forth from work when Jodi stated she was afraid she was being followed?. I realise they probably didn't have the manpower to do it for long, but I think the time frame from initial notification to abduction was like 6 or 7 months. The video states a few times. But how much time elapsed from beginning to end.

It appeared that if the police were obvious about being there watching out for her they had to be followed or the abductor knew when it was safe to stalk her again. Just thinking out loud.
