Cold Case investigators

I was wondering if this case has ever been submitted to those teams who do cold case investigations pro bono. They are retired detectives normally.
I sure wish this case could be looked at with fresh eyes.
Perhaps it has. I am sure the list of cold cases is huge.

That has been brought up and I understand MCPD or another Iowa organization does have a cold case unit. There is also a national cold case unit of retired detectives who are brought in by request by who I don't know. I agree fresh eyes are needed, the dust is piling up on this " MCPD active case".
