You are insane! Amy was at the studio. She made 22k a year and Ron made 30k a year at Tires Plus. Hardly the type of money t orchestrate what you are implying.

It's been a long time since I've posted here. Way back before Feldhaus passed...him & I discussed at great length the very two people mentioned in this thread. We had a list of a few people that could've been Involved in our opinions and these two were on that list for various reasons.

If this premise is true, we have a good idea where we may find Jodi. Also understood is that they didn’t get this far without the help of the police.

This may be the most insightful post I've seen here. I don't think Amy or Ron had anything to do with it. I knew Jodi and Amy. I was the morning guy on the radio station across town and we had socialized and also done some cross promotions for charity, etc.
I don't believe the police were actually COMPLICIT, I do believe they were (leadership, at least) moronic imbeciles! My wife had been robbed at gunpoint around the same time as Jodi's abduction, also early in the morning, at the Burger King. Anyone who lived in Mason City at the time will remember that. The armed robbers stuck rifles and a pistol in her face and the face of her crew and locked them in the FREEZER and left them to die before the store opened one morning. if not for another manager from another store needing to borrow some buns for the crescent sandwiches for breakfast items that morning, my wife would have been dead along with 3 or 4 other employees! The M.C.P.D. never solved it, never did correct police work, never lifted prints where my wife told them the gunmen (who weren't wearing gloves) had touched CLEAN STAINLESS STEEL, didn't lift the boot prints going in and out of the back door, although everyone else was wearing the SAME tread pattern shoes (shoes for crews style shoes) and they never interviewed two employees and a former employee that were the management team's suspects!
No cover-up, just bungling.
That's my humble opinion.
