I know how the family feels as the 10th anniversary of my Nephew, Neil Maxwell, nears. He was murdered and left out in the cold on a parking lot. He was murdered November 22, 2003. His alleged killer was found not guilty. No closure for our family either, if there is such a thing.
I am now reading Dead Air and it is enlightening. I have already come to one conclusion and I am not yet half way through. I will let you know how I feel and what I think when I finish the book.
Jodi was a beautiful human being that deserved to live.

Can you give me your objective opinion of the book when you are finished?

The book was brilliant. I liked the scenarios given and one of those scenarios is correct. We will never know which one, but the law in the small town where my Nephew was murdered didn't investigate much at all. They were protecting someone. 10 days before Neil was murdered, he saw large sums of money and city fathers in a backroom of the local watering hole and had mentioned it to his family. He was found murdered on the parking lot of that same establishment 11/22/2003. I live in a city of millions and feel safer than I do in a small town, especially the small town where Neil was murdered. I do believe the book is one of my favorites and I would love to see a movie made about Jodi's life and death. Jodi must have known too much, just like Neil.
