Event To Include Gary Peterson of FindJodi.com
The Jodi Huisentruit case is set to be the focus of an upcoming "live cold case reading" by psychic criminal profiler Robbie Thomas as part of his North American Tour. The event will be held at the Sioux City Convention Center (801 4th Street, Sioux City, Iowa 51101) on Friday, May 14th from 8:00-10:00pm CST.
Thomas' website explains the event as:
"Robbie doing a live cold case reading on the untimely disappearance of News Anchor Jodi Huisentruit from Mason [City,] Iowa. On scene Death Investigator Gary L. Peterson will be in attendance on stage. You will witness never before seen real time investigative work with a Psychic Detective LIVE as information will be passed along to assist in this case. What you will witness is raw, emotional and extremely intense situations at times during the reading session so we advise its for mature audiences only!"
Mr. Thomas told me in a recent phone interview that he will take event attendees behind the scenes of what he believes happened to Jodi Huisentruit. He'll explain how he works with investigators and criminal profiling and he'll describe actual markings, landmarks and details of what happened to Jodi and where she could be.
FindJodi.com's Gary Peterson will  actually not be in attendance, but he will be live via phone to take part in the event. Gary has been assisting the Red Cross in Nashville, Tennessee during recent flooding and will not be able to return in time for the event.
Gary is scheduled to work three weeks as a liaison between the Red Cross and city, county and state government officials, keeping in touch with their needs and letting officials know what help the Red Cross can give.

FindJodi.com's View on Psychics and Jodi's Case
Throughout the years Gary and I have covered Jodi's case, we have met with dozens of psychics and have listened to what they have to say. We have studied tips, visions, dreams, and held many dialogues with various members of the psychic world. To me, I believe psychics can be a valuable resource at times. However, with my experience of working with them on Jodi's case, we have followed many leads to many dead ends as well.
I take a very balanced view in psychics. I don't believe all of those who claim to be psychic in nature. I believe there are more talented pychics than others. And I do believe those talented psychics can and do assist law enforcement in successfully solving crimes from time to time.
There has been a lot of dialogue recently on the FindJodi.com Forum about the validity of psychics and how we should approach their information. It has always been FindJodi.com's stance to allow for views from all parties and listen to what everyone has to say about this case - as we're all unaware of what happened because there is no solid evidence, no suspect and most importantly, no Jodi.
FindJodi.com agreed to be a part of Robbie Thomas' event because it allows for Jodi's case to get back out in the public eye. FindJodi.com was not paid, nor did we pay to be a part of the event.
Jodi's case has gone cold. We firmly believe the only way for it to be solved is for the public to be aware, educated and updated on any developments regarding the case. And we look to our dedicated FindJodi.com user base to spread the word and keep the search alive. |
